When you think of crock pot, most people instantly remember their mother’s rival brand crock pot. The one that sat by itself on a shelf in the kitchen during their childhood days, all alone and lonely untouched since it was never used except for that occasional luck meatball dish. The crock pot is a sort of slow cooker that has its heating elements around the edge of the pot and it mainly consists of three parts namely the housing, the crock and the lid.

The housing portion is normally made of plastic or an alloy with an aluminum liner which contains the heating elements. Within this is the crock which is a pot made of crockery where the food is placed.

For ease of cleaning, use a crock pot that comes with a removable crock and a see-through lid so you can keep an eye on everything that is going on inside without having to lift the lid and losing heat in the process.

The most important factor of cooking crock pot is the ease of cooking it. Crock pot recipes are extremely simple to follow and consume very little time hence it is extremely easy and convenient to cook crock pot. Finding amazing with just a few ingredients make things even better.

Most easy crock pot recipes are just with 3 ingredients and hence cooking crock pot becomes just a few minutes of work. Easy as can be, cooking crock pot doesn’t take up much of your time either. And above all of these advantages, cooking a crock pot is quite economical since all the ingredients come quite cheap. A few dollars and you’re done with your crock pot recipe.
