Bell Pepper Rice

A simple rice recipe with slight sweet and crunchiness.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Boiled Rice (~250g)
  • 3/4 Cup Bell Peppers julienned
  • 1/4 Cup Red Kidney Beans (Rajma) Boiled
  • 1 small onion chopped or julienned
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1-2 Tbsp Oil
  • Salt as required

Instructions

  • On medium flame place a pan and add oil. Now add onions and fry them until the raw smell is gone, next add bell peppers and saute for a min.
  • Add rajma, salt, pepper, soy sauce and mix.
  • Finally add the boiled rice and stir on a high flame till all the veggies, rajma and rice are well combined.
  • Switch of the flame and it's ready to serve.

Enjoy the rice with tomato ketchup or vegetable raitha.
